OK - so, my latest celluloid outpouring is a homage to 1950's British horror. The sort of thing that used to be on BBC2 in the aftertnoon when you were off sick from school!

Shot at a Manor House in Henfield last year and premiering at Frightfest, The Odeon Leicester Square in August (quite exciting!)

We are then doing a screening at The Depot in Lewes on Monday 16th September if anyone fancies a night out. Would be good to have a beer afterwards.

Fun fact.

We were talking football on set and the chap who plays the postman near the start said to me, "oh, my brother works in football.' I asked what he did, expecting him to be the physio at Seaford Town or something...

"He's the Southhampton manager", was his surprising response!

Jamie Martin - lovely fella.

I didn't realise there was a 3rd Brother.

Like the look of this.

I'm getting a 'The Spiral Staircase' (1946) vibe.

Which is a good thing.

Edit: just seen that it's on you tube, I shall watch that this evening. Cracking film.

I watched loads of these as prep for the shoot. The Innocents was my favourite. There was a lovely 4k widescreen upload of it on YouTube until recently... also shot in Sussex of course.

Worthing
A friend of mine had a good few beers with a chap he met in a bar in NYC one night. Rodger and my mate got on well and when asked what he was doing in the City, replied 'My daughter Kate works here' He took Rodger's business card and thought no more about it until the next morning when he found it again. RIP Rodger Winslet.

Are you suggesting Kate Winslet is more glamourous than Russell Martin. I won't have it!!

Horror is really not my thing. I spent half of last night awake after watching a crime drama!!
I hope it goes really well though. 🙂
