What are your big plans for the night ahead?

Im off to watch my mates band play at the ocean rooms then were going to some hooters style bar in the gap club after that!

come back on and tell us what the new Gap nights are like as we are thinking of going next week.

Sweep and mop the floors, sew some more name labels into various items of school uniform, bath the baby, clean some tack and if I'm lucky I'll get to wash my hair.

Blimey you put me shame! The housework goes out the window for 6 weeks when the kids are at home, great excuse in my book not to to do any! I havent even thought about sorting my boys stuff for school yet and still have a lunch box and school bag to purchase before Monday! You should MAKE the older kids write their own names in the labels and then clean the tack, £1 each should do the trick. Pass the baby over to Paddy and give him strict instructions for the evening and then go and soak in a bath until kids are all in bed!

Ha! I would gladly hand the baby over but if I ask Paddy to do anything he is yelling every minute "what do I wash her hair with?" "which sponge is for her face?" "Do I use cotton wool or wipes?" and it's just quicker and easier to do it myself, which I think is part of his masterplan anyway.

We have to use sewn in labels on the uniform, some dumb school rule.

I still have so much school junk to buy, my son was issued with a list a mile long and needs fancy protractors and compasses. The daughter needs ribbons and who knows what else. We have another week though so I do have some time.

As for the tack, have bribed the daughter with pancakes for breakfast if she does a good job!

Our bathroom looks like some sort of Torrelmelinos time share building site. Another of Paddy's DIY projects. I am assured it will be finished by tomorrow otherwise he won't be going to the football on Sunday.

Sitting here pissed off that I didn't get my wages this week, was supposed to be going out with JB to the Grenadier for a few pints, this is put on hold for the time being!

Working , well with any luck will get some nice long recovery to do and keep me out the way for the evening - or knowing my luck it'll be wheel changes on the M62 in the pissing rain all night - Hopefully i'll get to doss about manning the phones all night. Roll on 7 am.
