Just had a lovely cup of tea (accompanied by two hefty slices of home-made chilli bread with extra mature Cheddar cheese).

Might raid the cupboard for something stronger once I've washed up.

It was! Not had chilli bread before. Saw some today & thought I'd give it a go at making it. Results were pleasing. And you can never, ever go wrong with proper Cheddar cheese.

I have stupidly signed up for Macmillan's "Go sober for October" fundraising challenge so I'm on the ginger beer. I'll be pleased just to get through this first weekend, what with a home game to go to and wall-to-wall rugby on the TV.
