Glad it got sorted in the end.

If it any consolation my wife is a nurse and started before you got there last night and is still working.

Luckily she is on a Paediatric ward so misses most of that crap but they still get the odd drunk wander around the hospital or as a parent.

Love what she does and proud of her but bloody hate her working weekend nights

This. Utterly shameful that every A&E in the land turns into a three-ring circus at closing time on a weekend night. Wasting NHS time should be made a criminal offence. Hospital staff are under enough pressure as it is, without having to deal with ****tards that can't hold their drink.

I was in A&E 2 Tuesdays ago as I fell out of my wheelie bin, while I was jumping on the recycling to push it down, as it was overflowing and may have fractured my scaphoid [emoji38]

I wonder why they didn't burn it closed. I had a biopsy in the roof of my mouth a couple of years ago and they used some kind of chemical to burn it to stop the bleeding. Perhaps because that was the specialists and A&E don't have access.

Whilst not quite the same I've done Sunday morning in A&E with a hangover for an arm I'd broken the night before whilst drunk but had carried on drinking as it didn't hurt too much at the time.

Probably one of the worst places and times to have a hangover.
