I've taken advantage of working from home today and set a big beef stew off on the path to deliciousness at lunchtime... Big chunks of beef, carrot, onion, celery and tomatoes slowly bubbling away in Guinness until the meat just falls apart. Stick some dumplings in with about 20 mins to go and serve with creamy mash for a beautiful winter warmer. Winner!
