I love Proper Job and it's double IPA version Big Job.

Doing a dinner for friends who are also winos, so am looking forward to

DP '59 (ooo err, missus)
Krug '90
Bryant Family '94 Pritchard Hill
Screaming Eagle '94
D'yquem 1986

They'd better be bringing something decent, or it's all going back in the cellar.

Some of those American IPAs are pretty decent. Used to get Goose Island in Wetherspoons

Whetherspoons has a very good entry level range of craft beers. I actually prefer the cask stuff these days though, they have some very good, and sometimes experimental, stuff. It's very easy to criticise them but they have a good range. The owner is a knob though.

I've just been told he's remembered the whites and the pinots, but has forgotten the port. Suppose it'll have to be Fonseca '63; the old stuff is in London. Should be ok though, I'd have thought...?
