Off to the rubber dub now with Mrs W, start with a few ales. Home for dinner, gammon and cauli cheese, with a bottle of Alsace Rosé. A second bottle watching the Foxes devour the Magpies. Then a few late Armagnacs before an early night. And an early start for the long journey to the Caxton, for more ales with their marvellous landlord. I bloody love Fridats.
Today is day 101 of my dry streak. I've made it through Amex days, a last-minute holiday to Florida, various nights out and a trip to Wembley, so this Fridat isn't going to tempt me.
Still got a Shepherd Neame 1698 and a McEwans Champion Ale at home along with the remnants of a Beer52 order.
Now out getting more supplies but not sure as to what.
Good to see the Fridat night back after the confusion of calling it Friday last week! Tonight I will be indulging in a White wine to go with some spicy Thai food and have chosen a Cuvée Théo Domaine Weinbach Gerwurztraminer.
On the delightful Holler Brewery (Brighton) Extra Pale. Proper nice this but running out fast. Onto a 360° Brewery beer next (at the Old Star in Shoreham)
