Shared a couple of glasses of Chilean Beefsteak Club Malbec with our Lasagne, very nice as well.

Rather tempted to give the rest of the bottle a go...

Elvis juice 4 x 440 , a G&T and a big old Bifter… I’ve had a harder week than my 62 year old body can cope with.

Just bought a 4 pack for this evening.

On lagers, what are people's favourites?

Normally an ale drinker but have been a bit more keen on the bottom fermented beers recently. It's a bit annoying though as most are massed produced brands, what's good that's relatively easy to get?

After my run in with Spanish company on another thread. Have elected to forego my usual Aldi Chianti and opt for the far more potent winter berry and clementine gin (11 year limited edition) that I won in the raffle at a fete recently.

What’s the Pav Tav like now? It was very downmarket about 10 years ago. Any better now?
Completely changed I would almost call it respectful in there now it’s called the Fitz regent. For midweek home games think it will be my go to pub as cheap beer and basic menu better than spoons
