Free Spice Girls ticket: should I go?

I've been offered a night out in a hospitality box at one of the Spice Girls' O2 gigs. I can't make my mind up whether to go.

On the one hand I don't really like the Spice Girls (apart from Wannabe which I thought was a decent pop song). On the other, it will be quite an event and I haven't been to O2 yet.

I'll throw it open to the corporate wisdom of NSC.

go gwylan. we're doing the corporate thing as well. my oldest daughter has no idea but asks 34897689347573489 times a day if she can see the spice girls, planning to tell her we are going to a leeds game and pitch up there.

go gwylan, the bar always has a good selection and the food comes from levy and the other times we have been to the 02 has always been top notch. if the spice girls bore you they have fully working computers with internet and plasma tvs etc.

"Oh no, I've been offered free hospitality tickets to a massive gig at a great venue that I've never been too, I don't know what to do"

GO YOU GOON.

Go.

But take earplugs for everything except Wannabe. The clip of them onstage in Canada that was on the news yesterday sounded like the blandest thing to happen since something else that was really, really bland...

Er, hello, is this a serious question

" I have been offered free tickets in hospitality to see the Spice Girls, should I go ? "

They were/are a decent " pop " band who did some good enough pop songs including a couple of belters and would be a riot live I reckon.

Go to it, for God sake. Think of the 20 and 30-something year old totty there.

And they'll think you're gay which is a real turn on for the ladies.

Let's see;

Free food? Check
Free tickets? Check
Free beer? Check

Tough choice.

Now add this to the equation; All of the 12 and 13 year old girls who formed the Spice Girls fan base first time round, are now all young women in their early 20's. The audience for this singalong is going to be a BABEFEST.

Have a good night.

I wouldn't go and see the Spice Girls if they were playing live in my front room - in fact I would probably go out shopping, or something.

...Though if free food and drink are involved I could maybe be persuaded!

If I were single that would be a consideration: but I'm a respectable family man these days.

Hmmm...collective NSC wisdom seems to be that I should go. I might have to wear a disguise in case someone sees me though.
