Just remembered that season ticket holders have still got the free entry home cup ticket to use.

Be great if we draw Chelsea at home and don't have to pay.!

This raises an interesting question.

What is TODAY's market value of a ticket to the first cup game at Withdean?

Season Ticket holders - how much would you sell yours for?

Non-Season Ticket holders - how much would you be prepared to pay for one?

Right now, mine's not for sale.

If we happen to end up in the FA Cup 4th round after an away win, it might be for sale as I won't be back from skiing in time. At that point, I'd sell for face value, as I always do.

Oh, and I nearly forgot. IT'S NOT FREE, IT HAS BEEN PAID FOR AS PART OF THE PACKAGE OF 24 TICKETS!

I reckon the odds against the Albion drawing really top opposition in the 3rd round of the cup are about 9/1. The odds against drawing them at home ... 18/1

Odds against drawing a very uninteresting team at home ... shall we say 5/4 ?

Depends on who we were drawn against. If it were a non league club then no more than £10 or so.

But if we got Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal or Man U...then I would probably pay upto £30-£35

It's not free really is it? We pay for 24 match package for our season ticket.

I'm down to work on 3rd round day so we better get a shite game or end up with the game moved to Sunday for TV

We will be away to Oldham (when they beat Brentford tomorrow). You read it here first.

Although Chelsea, Liverpool & Arsenal would field teams will almost completley unheard of players!!

Newcastle, Middlesborough would be better!!

But, who cares - we will go out to someone like Oldham first round!

Apart from Spurs we always get a really crap draw in the cups. Millwall or Orient seam to come up a lot!

So ... TODAY, you would gamble how much?

What happens if we draw no-one at home this season?

Does it carry forward to the First two home games next season?

Or do we get sweet FA?

Did I read some where about a small rebate or knocking off next years ST. Hopefully won't happen as I've got a 3yr ST, what was I thinking!

Even more interesting question: There's about an even chance of us not having any cup game at all at Withdean this season if, say, we draw Tottenham away and fail to secure a draw. What happens THEN? ???

Then you get the value of the ticket refunded if you don't renew, or the price of the ticket taken off the price of next years ST if you do renew.

:p

I wouldn't mind for us to have a crap team at home in the 3rd round as i get to use the cup ticket, we will (hopefully) win and get someone really good in the fourth! I probabily won't renew my season ticket as going to miss games when i go to florida next year and with the new seats, its not going to be too hard to get a match ticket next seaso. So i grab the money, if we don't have a home cup game this season.
