Go here:

http://www.partypoker.com/daves/index.htm

observe what it says:

Sign up now for a PartyPoker.com Real Money account and we'll put $50 into your account. There are no restrictions on the offer – if you want, you can take it straight out and spend it at Weekend at Dave’s. Just enter W@D when prompted to enter code.

You may have to deposit $50 of your own, and you can then take out the $100 immediately.

They are one of the biggest online poker sites in the world, and it seems that they know nothing at all about the internet and how things like this spread.:nono:

Party Poker cocked up big time - people have been leeching money out of them with this promotion, so much so that their shares bombed yesterday. Bouncing back today, but could be the dead-cat syndrome.

Personally, I don't like Party. I don't like the people on it, or some of their policies. It tends to be the site where people begin their playing career before they move off. It's good for the free play, but people get confused thinking that free play=real play, but not for money. It's not a good place to learn. The best place to learn is on the 5c/10c tables - which Party are now limiting people to 45 days of play before they are locked off. They drive you upwards to higher tables, increasing their rake at the same time.

Don't like them.

This "free" money is bollocks. In my experience, if they are "giving" you $20 to bet with, thats exactly what you have to do with it - bet. You can't just sign up and then withdraw the cash - you have to have staked at least $20 of bets before you can make any withdrawls. Not a problem as long as you realise this (and as long as you build on that $20 they give you).

If Partypoker are "forcing" people off the 5c/10c tables onto the higher ones after a period of time, then its no wonder they are losing customers hand over fist (and posting poorer trading results as a consequence). I'll stick to the low-stake Pacific Poker site. Just broke through the $100 barrier the other night, and still climbing. If they pulled the rug on the 5c/10c tables, then I'd take my stash and leave them to it.

I've jsut signed up, the $50 is in my account, although you have to play 400 raked hands to withdraw the $50.

Gives me something to do this week :lolol:
