Just think of all those extra Sussex based Chelsea fans that we would attract to The Amex, we would have to extend the capacity somehow.
A no brainer surely, go get Frank, I say.

Let's image for one second that Bloom appoints Lampard. If he turned out to be a success he'd be linked with Chelsea as soon as their next manager gets the tic-tac. He'll say he's flattered and then two days later he'll be pictured at Stamford Bridge holding a Chelsea scarf above his head.

Potter seems a shrewder move.

His wife has a ring I’d be interested in, obviously most on here won’t agree (I’m implying impeccable better taste than mine in case I offend any straightflakes)

I’m fairly confident I would not say that about your wife.

So people dislike the thought of Potter because he has no topflight experience and little managerial experience but lots of people want Lampard because he's had 1 season in the championship? Ok

We can sing that excellent song the Derby fans invented about him...

(To the tune of Stone Roses, Waterfall)

Frank Lampards at the Wheel,
Tell me how good does it feel?,
We've got Stephens and Duffy and Bong,
And Glen Murray who scores all day long!,

(repeat)

Have I missed something with Lampard?

People are going way OTT about his achievements at Derby.

I imagine Jody Morris is the guy that brought in the Chelsea youngsters as well.

Of course I hope they smash Leeds tonight.

......................would end up relegated, something that never happened to Hughton's Albion.

I would cum in my boxers if we got fabulous Frank in as manager.

- Done extremely well in his first season in management without spending much.
- Very nice guy.
- Got a heap of contacts for loans/permanent signings.
- Very intelligent with a high IQ. Got a degree I read somewhere. Tactically brilliant.

WHEN Villa win on penalties, after the final Tony Bloom should go after him.

He hasn't spent much on transfer fees as three of their key players have been on loan from PL clubs. He won't get that option in the PL itself.
