Good to see there's still comedians around who take comedy out of its comfort zone and polarise opinion. Frankie Boyle, IMHO like, is our modern day Brit equivalent of Bill Hicks or Lenny Bruce. Most of his contemporaries are grimly safe and sanitised and dream only of the telly gig that pays the rent and propels them into some ridiculously big stadium that gives them delusions of being stadium rockers. Its all got a bit SMUG. Personally I blame any comedy partnership with the word 'Baddiel' in the title.

I think Junior is going to this and good luck to him, I fail to find anything funny about him.

Yeah, Frankie Boyle would never dream of doing TV shows after all  He's nowhere near Bill Hicks, with Boyle it's offensive first and then see if you can fit some humour in after if possible (not usually). Still, suppose he's got to keep himself in the papers somehow.

the best fishing i have seen on here for a while.

frankie boyle is the modern day equivilent of a british tedious panel show jobs for the boys bore. which he is anyway. we can do so much better than frankie in this country and we do. jokes about disabled children hahahaha quality.

if he was performing in my back garden i would pull the blinds.

i would rather be stuck in a clockwork orange world wehere they held my eyelids open to watch manning on continous loop for eternity than watch his post ironic money spinning bollocks.

If they offer me £150 I might consider suffering his vile tripe ......... as long as he doesn't do more that 15 minutes

I saw his show in Bristol a couple of months back. It wasn't great.

He tended to stay on the same subject for far too long, and about 20 minutes of his set was talking about Michael Jackson and child molesting. Hardly topical, and not all that funny.

The support act was better.
