Why would you ever buy anything other than the cheapest ticket for a comedy gig? Same goes for music.
Yeah, Frankie Boyle would never dream of doing TV shows after all He's nowhere near Bill Hicks, with Boyle it's offensive first and then see if you can fit some humour in after if possible (not usually). Still, suppose he's got to keep himself in the papers somehow.Good to see there's still comedians around who take comedy out of its comfort zone and polarise opinion. Frankie Boyle, IMHO like, is our modern day Brit equivalent of Bill Hicks or Lenny Bruce. Most of his contemporaries are grimly safe and sanitised and dream only of the telly gig that pays the rent and propels them into some ridiculously big stadium that gives them delusions of being stadium rockers. Its all got a bit SMUG. Personally I blame any comedy partnership with the word 'Baddiel' in the title.
