[Travel] Frankfurt advice?

I can't remember if it was a bus or a tram as it was over 20 years ago but I got totally ruined riding around the town on one with a bar on it. That was the most memorable thing about my visit to Frankfurt and I can barely remember it.

That was what I mentioned in an earlier post.. Its a tram called the ebbelwei express and it sells a scrumpy like drink..

Loads of orrible strip bars and brass houses if you are into that.

Some roads and alleys very very moody. Went into the wrong Pizza joint and nearly stirred up a race riot.

No. That would be neighbouring Offenbach. Whenever polls or discussions occur as to the naffest place in Germany, it's not long before somebody mentions Offenbach.

When in Frankfurt head for nearby city of Mainz more historic with decent old town and bars to match

Better heading in the opposite direction to Heidelberg
