Sad to see him go at a relatively young age.
In his Brighton playing days I saw him at the bar of the Congress Theatre in Eastbourne, at a Grumbleweeds gig. He was wearing mismatched socks in garish colours. That struck me, in my youth, as quite a rebellious thing for a grown man to do.
