I'm with you on that.

Lost track of the amount of times we were in a good position team wise and Gerrard would waste the ball by being greedy and taking a shot himself. 99% of the time missing the target.

Certainly he had those 3 shots in the last match but I think he shot out of frustration more than anything. I'm not defending him, I may believe he's a class player at his best - certainly at club level, but not at all this summer.

With the impact FL had on the tournament, there wasn't much point him turning up, really now, was there ?

Not too many other goals scored against the Germans! Hardly his fault the Ref was a cheating bastard!
