They may end up being safe, but it will be the most boring football.
Everyone remembers the brilliant Europa Cup run at Fulham, but that was the exception to the rule. I went to some Fulham and some Liverpool PL games during his stints, the football was mind numbing, with few chances and no room for creativity.
He WAS a media and public favourite, until the rest of the nation saw this too in his doomed England management.
