Fears now of France not putting their chances away, like Germany, and Ronaldo performing one of his truly unbelievable acts - leaping...he can leap...oh just wow...and of course making his teammates feel bad about themselves - and the trophy being placed in another Ronaldo museum somewhere.

See that huge moth attacking Ronaldo?

I know he can be a massive tit at times, but if- as seems likely- he ends up going off with that injury, I think it'd be a shame. He's clearly devastated (genuinely for once, as opposed to the usual histrionics).

Given that Portugal have been a bit one dimensional in this tournament, Ronaldo going off injured is likely to be to the detriment of the game as a spectacle.

Hope Portugal don't get 4 players going off injured. That would never happen.

No great fan of the character of Ronaldo on the pitch but surely Payet knew precisely what he was doing then!!!!

VERY pleased Sissoko has left Newcastle and won't be powering through us on his way to goal!

Can't someone from the BBC gather up these moths and open a nature table channel on the red button to see what fine specimens are in flight tonight?

Chris Packham could host.

I'd switch over and watch and then just flick back to the football for the penalty shootout later. Job's a good 'un
