Superb.
Fudgin' marvellous in fact !
Superb.
.......... Ronaldo has even inspired his team to a major trophy, despite having teammates who play for the likes of Southampton and West Ham.
Totally agree. The idea that Messi is let down by his teammates is ridiculous. This is a side that can leave Aguero on the bench and Icardi on the beach.
Put it like this, Argentina’s squad has far more talent and ability on paper than Portugal’s, yet I don’t see Ronaldo go missing on the big stage time and again. Ronaldo has even inspired his team to a major trophy, despite having teammates who play for the likes of Southampton and West Ham.

Incredible to think that they’d take 10 out of 11 places in a best of team.
Have we fallen that far? Or are countries like France so much better at football than the English?
Messi is a failure at this level, end of.
This is a side that LEFT Aguero and Icardo on the bench, not one that can afford to. Ridiculous decision.
Portugal did well to win the Euros, but it was all a bit odd - they drew six of their seven games. And in all other major tournaments Ronaldo has been pretty anonymous. He was superb against Spain this time, but tonight...the usual frustration so far.
Argentina so nearly won the World Cup in 2014, but inspiring his team to the final is clearly no achievement in the eyes of many.
Messi was definbitely let down by his team mates this WC. They were way too conservative and wouldn't give him the ball, again and again, when a sideways pass to the left back or whatever was easier.
He still produced two assists today and a fantastic goal last game.
Messi and Ronaldo are two of the greatest players ever. The teams that they have played for internationally would have got nowhere in the last decade without them.
Golden ball winner Brazil 2014.
