He is not the kind of backup we need - quite simply not good enough I'm afraid.

This is getting cyclical.

Whatever position you want to take, I'm not that bothered:

Scored 5 goals in 6.5 games for us and so
-was a great player for us like he is in scotland
-was awful for us despite scoring, so scoring up in scotland doesn't mean he's suddenly good.

Lets remember that your captain finished 10th and 11th during his time in the SPL.

It isn't a great standard of football, but i don't think i have ever heard anyone in Scotland say that it is.
