Sometimes I could scream. What do you want me to explain? Have you read anything I've said?

I have.

It's perfectly simple. I asked you to clarify the last point of that post. The last point was that it's going to be equally hard to get a ticket at Falmer as it is at Withdean. All you then did was to repeat that it would be equally hard to get a ticket at Falmer as it is at Withdean, without clarification of that point.

I didn't ask why people are negative. I don't give a shit that you're negative about this proejct - that's your problem.

Clear?

You must have missed half of the last page then where Mendoza went through the oh so simple way of registering swipe cards and putting credit on it. And the bit where I said until there are cash turnstiles, thousands of people will not bother.

Your good at doing this!

Seems perfectly clear to me, Timbo (or me) was saying having to get a smart card, load it with cash seems allot harder than walking up to a turnstyle and giving the mush behind the ramp some folding matter.

That's one way of buying them, if you wanted to be cack-handed about it. I'd get the store card with credit already put on it.

I was thinking of the one where your phone has a barcode uploaded onto it, and you wave that into a machine. You can get your barcode while you're sitting in the boozer if you feel like it.

Do you seriously believe that is a simple way of attending a game of football?

Hello ?

We've been told we can arrive at the ground on the day and buy a ticket there. The Chairman has confirmed this.

that is indeed the case if you have already bought a ticket before!!

its just getting people to do the first step in the first place - i.e. applying for the card

Well I guess we don't yet have the option where you're picked up from home by Angelina Jolie, get chauffuer-driven to the stadium, get dropped off on the concourse at 2pm and escorted to the bar where Dick Knight shakes you warmly by the hand, gets you a pint in and then pops off to the ticket office to fetch your ticket for you, before coming back in time to buy the next round, puts the ticket in your hand along with a matchday programme, then gives you an affectionate peck on the cheek and a cheeky wink before going back to attend to the sponsors. But hang on in there, I'm sure they're working on it.

It is easy once you have a card, there is nothing to stop you giving your card to a freidn to avoid this 1st step, but then I guess the club would lose out on the admin charges used to make one, meaning they lose money on the whole stadium project.

It is not a massive issue getting a card, but say you have a friend stay in Brighton for the weekend, who takes a sudden interest in Brighton & Hove Albion and wants to watch, how easy is it going to be to get them into the ground by official means??

Can said person just walk to the ground, say 1 ticket please, and get a ticket?? I hope the answer is yes, but i feel its not going to be that easy

I must have missed something here.

Where or when was it said that you MUST obtain a card in order to obtain a ticket?

I though that the idea of having the card was making people who go time and time again (but don't have season tickets) not have to queue at the ticket office window and stuff like that. That way anyone who wants to bowl up casually when they feel like just has to get one at the ground. Or the railway station. Or the Club Shop.

That was the question asked the other night, and the answer was YES.

It'll probably be similar to the Stadium of Light. Ticket office on-site, just mosey on up, hand over your hard-earned and walk off with your ticket to the bar in the ground.

you would hope so, as long as that is made clear to everyone.

so it stops people queueing at the turnstyle, only to be turned away, and made to queue at the ticket office, and have to queue again at the turnstyle.

just means loads of people are left outside instead of in the ground watching Gullys Girls (by then all of legal age) do there thang!!

Take out the six years nearly that LDC wasted and it is quicker than both Wembley and the Emirates

And factor in the 4 less tiers and 70,000 less seats :)
