I disagree - unless we are chasing a win for some extraordinary reason! Give the man a chance.

To drop Lyth now would make the first 4 tests pointless for him. Yes he's been poor but if we are going to get the best out of him, they need to stick with him. And if the urn is won in this game, then it'll be the most pressure-free environment he could wish for in and Ashes series.

There were a few poor shots (Clarke the most shocking) but Broad bowled a perfect length with just enough movement to get the edge rather than beat the bat. And the catching was excellent. It was the perfect storm.

Moving a bit, but nothing out of the ordinary. Shocking batting - shocking lack of application.

Plus great bowling and incredible fielding - ALL 8 of Broad's wickets were caught in the slips.

Amazing stuff.
