Bit harsh including Kitson, yes he was injured a lot and did not seem to care, but towards on the end of the season when he was fit, he did look like the sort of link man that Zamora needed up front.

Ashley Neal is one of the worst I have seen, simply for that game at Northampton in 1996. Others have to include Christer Warren, David Adekola, Paul Linger, Mahoney the Pony and oh so many more.

The Hartlepool fan from Sky Sports (Jeff Sterling?) wrote a book about each club's worst player. For some reason he had us down as thinking it was Gordon Smith.

Ashley Neal will do for me - we went to the Northampton match when we lost 3-0 or something and the fans were singing 'you're not fit to wear the shirt'. Admittedly not just to him, but it might have been.
