Please someone correct me if im wrong but we have been top since the end of September and not one team has really came close to over taking us at the top. We will stay where we are for the rest of the season and Southampton will NOT win this league, we will.
We are so good, I got to celebrate the 6-0 win 20 minutes ago. Thanks for your concern. Your lot come out with such garbage, i quite often find myself presented with links to it all. You do keep us amused.

The gap is still three whole points isn't it. Or am I missing something? Good result for SCC but really our fate is in our hands, we have to concentrate on winning our own games and it doesn't matter what the other teams do.
You may well keep it chaps, what i'm saying is we are up and running under Nige now and we look a different kettle of fish to even 4 weeks ago. Those of you dismissing us, your mistaken. You have looked good for the top spot thus far, but surely you can feel us on the back of your necks now though? I can't make weekday away games, but did the fact that it took until the 80th minute (and being 0-6 down) until they got a shot on target? They had only conceded 11 goals at home all season.

Teams have patches where everything goes right, then patches where they're still playing OK, but not quite to the same level.
About 2 months ago, we were on fire;
Plymouth 0-2 Brighton
Brighton 2-1 Oldham
Brighton 1-0 Brentford
Tranmere 1-1 Brighton
Brighton 1-1 Bournemouth (Never a penalty). Then things really clicked.
Charlton 0-4 Brighton
Brighton 2-0 Yeovil
Peterborough 0-3 Brighton
Brighton 3-0 Exeter.
In those last 5 games; no goals conceded from open play (only a penalty which wasn't). Some of our fans got ahead of themselves then and assumed we'd walk the league (hmm, seems familiar). Well, you may well do (you've bought enough players on bigger wages than we can afford), or you may lose your way a bit.
