FOUR injuries in one game

Not sure I'd agree they were all non-contact - pretty certain that Sidwell was showing the ref where he'd got caught on the thigh in the first half and he came out in the second with it strapped so would be a massive coincidence if he'd got a knee injury as well. Mind you given our luck last evening its definitely possible!

i don't wanna start any blasphemous rumours,
but i think that god's got a sick sense of humour,
and when i die, i expect to find him laughing.:tantrum::shootself

if he is there and thats a big if he is already sniggering in my ear

I remember a game against Reading at Withdean in which Mayo, Hinshelwood and McCammon all went off injured.

I remember Trolley being wheeled off on the SJA trolley.

I remember being down to 10 men, because we'd already used our subs, when Jim McNulty was accidentally brought down in an innocuous tackle, but ruptured his kidney. It was horrendous and we lost the game. Slade was our manager at the time.

I wonder how many of them went into the game not 100% and carrying an injury. I would think Goldson and Hermed probably; Knockhaert was simply down to a trip and turning his ankle which can happen anytime and Sidwell I didnt see anything to suggest an injury.

Re Sidwell, how about the fact that his leg was heavily bandaged when he rolled up his shorts. I would say he was the only one carrying an injury pre-game.

If Tomer and Connor had felt a twinge, it would have also come to the fore in the warm-up. It was just one of those nights.
