So what will Wengers excuse be,

1. they pass the ball too far
2. Arsenal shouldnt be made to play in the evenings
3. it was too cold to play
4. Burnley were out to injure my players
5. the pitch isnt up to standards

4. seems to be the excuse of choice this year !

That happened once: after three players were injured by Stoke players tackling from behind, to be fair.

and hull at home as well i beleive, said they were too physical and out to injure their players

ok, i'll take that as true...the real one that got me was when he seriously thought that Arsenal were the better side against Man City a few weeks ago after getting done 3-0.

Being gracious in defeat costs nothing.

As stupid as it seems, arsenal probably were the better team for 90% of the game. But true, Wenger is rarely gracious in defeat.

I don't think any of the top managers ever are gracious in defeat.

Ferguson is the worst culprit but I can't remember Mourinho showing much in the way of good grace either. Nor do you see it from Benitez.

So I hardly think it's fair berating Wenger for it
