FORTY NOTES QUIZ NIGHT ** Details here **
PLEASE READ THE IMPORTANT MESSAGE LOWER DOWN THIS THREAD ABOUT THE CHANGE OF VENUE.
THE QUIZ WILL NOW BE HELD IN THE FUNCTION ROOM OF THE LADIES MILE PH, PATCHAM
The Forty Notes More or Less Fund is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a QUIZ NIGHT on Friday December 10 in The Function Room at the Ladies Mile.
All profits from the evening will go towards the Forty Notes Fund, a fans’ independent fund for Brighton & Hove Albion to buy or loan players to strengthen the playing squad. Over the past two years, the fund has raised almost £30,000 , and in so doing has managed to acquire the services of Dave Beasant, Tony Rougier, Ben Roberts and Chris Iwelumo.
The entry fee is £5 per person, and each team can have a maximum of five people. Doors open at 7pm, and the quiz starts around 7.45pm. Closing time is 11pm. Capacity in the suite is 150. There will also be a raffle, with some fantastic prizes – details of which later.
The previous quiz night raised over £1,200, and we hope that this figure can be beaten this time around.
=====
OK kids, put your name down here if you feel like coming. It’s the closest thing we are going to get to an NSC Christmas Meet-Up, unless Safeway has been sorting something out on the QT. The club has already sorted its team out – they are the ones to beat…
For those that remember the previous quiz night, I will be using a PA that works, and I will keep the screaming to a bare minimum. No, really – my throat really hurt the next morning.
Chappers, I can always re-flog your Tony Gubba ball.
