I will offer £25 notes for the bat......BTW Is it a proper usable bat, as mine is 15 years old and showing its age( a new slazenger is £199, so a sussex bat for £25 would be job done! cushtie)

I think you'll find Dave that Gwylan answered all the questions himself and the rest of us only chipped in occasionally, and mainly with wrong answers.

Oi...that 'ringer' was a mate of MOH's who answered one question (and that wrongly).

But the OS wsa good; particularly with the barrel of Harveys on the bar.

Dave, I would say on balance the bat isn't usable, but you'll find out more when you get to see it (and hold it of course) at the next quiz. It would be a bit like having a kickabout in a signed Albion shirt. Naff.

It was going to be auctioned on NSC the day after, or at least SOMEWHERE because it was a hot item at the time after all - sussex had won the rounders double or something. It was probably worth a few bob at the time, and it never again voluntarily saw the light of day. That's I'm saying on the matter...
