MAKE YOUR DISCOUNT COUNT

The Forty Notes More or Less Fund is once again asking fans of Brighton & Hove Albion to help the club acquire new players.

While the Falmer process drags on, and excessive delays hamper the club’s efforts to move forward, manager Dean Wilkins will be spending the summer looking to strengthen the squad, knowing that the delays are affecting his search for that elusive 25-goal a season striker.

In March, Brighton & Hove Albion offered their season ticket holders a 5% discount on renewal of tickets for the 2007/08 season. Now, the Forty Notes Fund is asking fellow fans, ‘would you be prepared to forego that discount if it meant strengthening the playing squad?’

The Forty Notes More or Less Fund is inviting Season Ticket Holders to voluntarily donate their 5% Season Ticket discount (no more than £27) towards helping the club acquire new players. However, there are of course no limits as to what any supporter may wish to contribute.

The Fund is run by fans, and is entirely independent of the club. All monies donated by the Fund to the club are at the discretion of the Fund, and will only be donated when the acquisition of a player is imminent.

Fans can donate to the Fund by the following methods

By online bank transfer
Account Name: Forty Notes Fund
Account No.: 05318022
Sort Code: 23-85-89
Address: Allied Irish Bank 20-22 Marlborough Place, Brighton BN1 1UB

or paying cash or a cheque at the Allied Irish, or posting a cheque made payable to the ‘Forty Notes Fund’ and send it to ‘Forty Notes Fund c/o 94a Gloucester Road, Brighton BN1 4AP.

Notes: The Forty Notes Fund was set up by fans of Brighton & Hove Albion in 2002 to help acquire players. In that time, it has helped with acquiring Tony Rougier, Dave Beasant, Ben Roberts, Chris Iwelumo and Joe O’Caeruill.

Getting people to spend anymore money above their st ( discount or not) is a tad churlish...however, get a 40 notes fund quiz going again and this time have the sussex bat in the raffle and we are in son!!!!!

I think that's exactly the reason why we should STOP the Forty Notes Fund!!!
