The Forty Notes More or Less Fund is once again asking fans of Brighton & Hove Albion to help the club acquire new players.
While the Falmer process drags on, and excessive delays hamper the club’s efforts to move forward, manager Dean Wilkins will be spending the summer looking to strengthen the squad, knowing that the delays are affecting his search for that elusive 25-goal a season striker.
In March, Brighton & Hove Albion offered their season ticket holders a 5% discount on renewal of tickets for the 2007/08 season. Now, the Forty Notes Fund is asking fellow fans, ‘would you be prepared to forego that discount if it meant strengthening the playing squad?’
The Forty Notes More or Less Fund is inviting Season Ticket Holders to voluntarily donate their 5% Season Ticket discount (no more than £27) towards helping the club acquire new players. However, there are of course no limits as to what any supporter may wish to contribute.
The Fund is run by fans, and is entirely independent of the club. All monies donated by the Fund to the club are at the discretion of the Fund, and will only be donated when the acquisition of a player is imminent.
