Will we be seeing much of him next season?

I hope so as from what I saw season gone, he was class. Just had a weaker show against Newcastle.
Thoughts?

There is no doubt he has talent, we have to, at all costs, keep him. Whenever he has come on, along with Bridcutt, he has controlled the midfield.

Although, with Bridders and Vicente in the middle, he will struggle to get in.

You also have to remember he has only just turned 18, so still got YEARS to go; one for the future. But yes, I think (and hope) we will see him more often next season.

Depends if Poyet still has faith in him. I think he's got great potential. Just listening to his performance against Southampton, then scoring again against Wrexham soon after, it would be a poor show if Gus doesn't at least give him another go. As long as he stays injury-free, that is.

One below par game, against newcastle, and he was out whereas other midfielders like Navs, Spaz, Dicker & harley all flattered to deceive.

JFC demanded the ball, worked hard and shamed some the senior players into upping their own game. Would love to see him getting more action.

So many commas.

Has great potential but as per the vast majority of young players he hasn't yet got the high level experience or the consistency. He can only get that gradually and I personally think he is being managed perfectly, or more specifically, the expectations of him and pressure on him is being managed perfectly. Had a great game against Southampton, a 7/10 against Wrexham and then a poor game against Newcastle. Inconsistency is expected of a teenager with less than half a dozen games under his belt, so that isn't a criticism; but proof that he isn't yet ready for a full run in the team as some are clamouring for. Right now he's behind Vicente for the 'in-the-hole' type player, which is probably fair enough wouldn't we all say? If it goes back to 7 subs we'll see a lot of him, if it stays at 5 I'd expect to see him in perhaps a dozen or so squads instead of four or five. We just need to be as patient as JFC himself; we all know his potential but let's make sure he fulfils it, by giving him time.
