Not necessarily but just because you can't/won't understand it doesn't mean its boring like you are implying, I HATE people who think F1 is simple.

I do kind of get why people don't like F1, personally love it but having just come back from the States and having tried really really hard, watching with some American fanatics, to get into a weekend of Nascar I have to say that it is mind numbingly boring racing and i have no idea why anyone would watch it more than once. Most Americans do not get F1 at all but cream themselves over Nascar and other US oval racing.

It's a case of what floats your boat and F1 does not float quite a few peoples.

Back on topic, I have no idea what will happen in the 1st race and it does seem a bit of an involved prediction competition. If it was a little simpler I'd have a go.

Yeah I tried to get into Nascar, watched some race the other week but just didn't get it. I am very very excited about F1. I can't wait for the bloody practice sessions on Friday! I think you need to have some knowledge of the sport to really get it. The stories behind the drivers and teams etc. The rules, why something happening is important and so on.
