Anyone remember Ralph Coates? He played for England and turned up as my Sports and Leisure Secretary when I worked at GEC Avionics in Borehamwood as a student.

Met him in the corporate area at Spurs too, with Martin Chivers and Mullers, sadly Ralph died recently.

Not overly famous but Ben Burgess, who scored against us in one if the Brentford 4-0 games, is now a primary school teacher.

Weren't we linked with signing him for about 5 consecutive transfer windows as well?

I met him a number of times as well, but this was about 25 years ago. Nice chap and perfectly suited to his job.
