Steve Foster.

One of Brighton's greatest defenders, lives locally, but never mentioned by the Club or guesting.

Ahh ..Junior Mcdougald.. To paraphrase Brian Clough, "his pace was deceptive- he was slower than he looked"
Jeff Minton - a player so much better than the crap side around him.
Paul McCarthy?
Keith Dublin?

Where are they now?

All totally UNforgettable.Napier K was the Peter Ward (who?) of his day,and I think you could mean John "Shirley" Templeman who was a guest of BHACHS very recently.

But Bert McGonigal ? Alan Sanders ?

Right here, right now
Harry Wilson - Left Back in the 70s around the time of Gerry Fell etc.
Graham Cross - Centre Back - think he came from Preston with Gary Williams
Denis Burnett - Centre back.
Nicky Bissett - Another centre back
Graham Winstanley - I'm on a roll now
Eric Potts - Ginger haired super sub. Striker.

Youre right. Didnt we get John Napier from Villa? I seem to remember him as a disapointment
after my optimism.

Ill never forget a Kit Napier volley against some England selection either, keeper didnt get the chance to move.

and whilst thinking about those times, ive just had a memory of the smell of Forfars bakery and now have an unfulliable craving for fecking doughnuts.

It was Clarks bakery.

John napier came from Bolton and was a record signing at £25,000. He was a rock at the centre of defence until dropped towards end of 71/72. Northern Ireland international too.
