Hats off to Everton. I assumed their early season form was a flash in the pan but they've pushed on again.

Another 'take' from that form table is the importance of beating struggling teams. Of the wankpuffins' three goals and five points, two and three respectively came from beating Sheff Utd. Lift that result out and their numbers are lovely.

Form tables are not really a good way to go unless its10 games, take palaces last 6 games it includes, Liverpool , Man City, Leicester, Arsenal and Sheffield united...I am sure 3 points was about what was expected.

Yeah, they have their limits. And there may be 'quirks' that distort like a few players out for one team.

Agree with you and Swansman that a draw wouldn't be a disaster but it feels like whenever we have a chance to capitalise and create some breathing space we mess up. Pressure, I guess.

It's certainly not a disaster in terms of what the league table will look like after the game but I think it could well be another nail in the coffin of confidence.

Beating Leeds would have been a huge uplift but we've failed to beat anyone below us. That monkey needs to be got off our back I think

Agreed. Win against Fulham would be a huge result. What anyone thinks they are playing well and are a hard team to beat. If we do win, including yesterday’s result it will be three wins on the bounce. A win will boost confidence, break our not winning at home record, pull us away from relegation, be our first win of the season against a team below us. We’re all set up for disappointment!
