Softly, softly catchy monkey. I hate, HATE that phrase, makes me cringe and vomit.

Are you sure you do not mean "slowly slowly catchy monkey?
Or maybe the phrase was different where you were

pogle's wood
we used to wind up an old diddycoi woman along our road until she went potty and shouted "I'll be seeing your mother about you c***'s eyes" One of my mates said to her "but Janey c***'s don't have eyes" To which she replied "well your a c*** and youv'e got eyes" For ages after that whenever one of us used to piss the others off they'd always get called c***'s eyes.

I remember when yoghurt pot lids used to be metallic and sometimes you'd bite them to open them up and my Dad would alsways say "Ooh, careful son, that'll find yer fillings" I always liked that one.

f***ing hurts too.... I sometimes get that pain when i leave a bit of foil on my toblerone...

I asked my girlfriend for a word/phrase she hadn't heard in years and she said "sorry". She doesn't get out much to be fair but I honestly thought that was quite a common word myself.

Last time I said that to my missus was the first time we made love. I've never needed to apologise for it happening that quick since.
