The defending champions have now won 13 straight t20 matches, equalling the record set by Surrey in 2003, and they will now look to make it six wins out of six for the 2010 campaign this week.

After planning to show the Wednesday’s Gloucestershire Gladiators match live on Sky, BSkyB have had to change their plans for operational reasons. The
From the Sussex we site

Sharks’ clash starts at 7.10pm under the floodlights at The County Ground, Hove, and the county are keen for those who were thinking of staying in and watching the game on television to get down to Hove and join in the party that is the Friends Provident t20.

With the defending champions making it five wins out of five with victory over Glamorgan Dragons yesterday, the county are running the ‘Farnrise Friends For A Fiver’ scheme, where any full-paying adult can bring along a friend of any age to the game for only £5.

Another big crowd is expected at Hove and New Zealand International Brendon McCullum will be available to make his home debut. It promises to be another action-packed evening as the Gladiators will be aiming to get their own back for the seven-wicket defeat the Sharks inflicted on them on Friday evening.

We would also like to note that alchool and Vuvuzelas will not be permitted into the ground on health and safety reasons.

Dont forget the friends for a fiver tonight as well. Buy 1 ticket online and then if you have a friend (doubtful for many on here) you can buy their ticket for 5 quid on the gate.

Yeah I thought it was originally. Shame it's not.

Will you be taking your vuvuzelas to The Oval on Sunday?

No Yardy or Wright tonight, will be great if we open with Prior and McCullum batting, Ollie and Nash bowling.

Sussex (from): Prior, McCullum, Goodwin, Joyce, Nash, Gatting, Arafat, Hodd, Martin-Jenkins, Beer, Kirtley, Rayner, Keegan, Panesar, Aga.

Gloucestershire (possible): Porterfield, Franklin, Gidman, Marshall, Taylor, Kadeer Ali, Snell, Butler, Lewis, Ireland, Bannerjee, Kirby.

I reckon:

Prior,
McCullum
Goodwin
Joyce
Nash
Arafat
Hodd
Martin-Jenkins
Raynor
Beer
Kirtley

Who will be our captain? Wasn't too convinced with Goodwin when he took the reigns before.

Goodwin

From the Argus

Robin Martin-Jenkins, Ed Joyce and Ollie Rayner all come into contention tonight as Sussex try to plug the gaps left by the absence of their England pair.

And acting captain Murray Goodwin might soon have another option of handing Prior the gloves as well as his key role at the top of the order.
