no... but sadly not by much either :(

so jealous of these major cities who have locals who understand just how important the local team is , ESPECIALLY when they've been f***ed around along the way..

Don't bet on it, local villagers (from Gotham, where Gotham City in Batman got it's name from apparently) are up in arms over this.

So am I, bit I don't think this is one of them. The locals should be standing up and demanding that Forest STAY at the City Ground. Wasn't it one of the Euro 96 grounds? Surely it can't be falling apart already? It's one of the most perfectly situated grounds (in the context of the rest of that city) in the country. More importantly, they were having trouble getting it half-full last season. Why do they want one twice the size now?
Whatever soul Forest have left will be lost forever. Bloody stupid idea.

That is the issue. West Bridgford where Forest is located has some expensive housing and the land the city ground is on must be worth a fortune. I don't think the ground could be expanded either. Clifton, on the other hand, is a complete shit hole and the land price is probably negligable in comparison.

The new ground will be linked to the City by tram, have a huge park and ride, and be 5 mins drive from the M1.

Oh come off it, the area round the City ground is pretty grotty, some very rough pubs, and close to The Meadows, one of the dodgiest estates in the midlands... Is a great location for a football ground though.
