Very interesting, and pleasing to see more ticket sales. Undoubtedly, the main reason is that it is a "big club" we are playing, but could some of the increase in interest be generated by the fact that we had a winning team on Tuesday with a coupleof new players...?
Now...if that is the case.....would this mean that investment in the team and better results mean more interest and therefore more income for the Albion...? Unthinkable I know.....but it might be something for the board to consider...??

some of the increase is likely to be down to the last result - however the club commercial department have been working their collective knackers off over the last few weeks with local businesses to sell tickets for this and the bristol city game.

Just all keep our fingers crossed and throats well oiled that we roar the team onto a memorable victory in good weather so much so that people want to come back again.

A guy I work with is going with a party of 270 odd all youngsters of football clubs. Another mate is in a group of 70 odd so they have done very well. Pat on the back to them. Lets hope a few of these youngsters come again. :)

It's not all to do with Orient. I normally buy tickets to the Family Stand a couple of days before the game and sometimes even on Saturday morning but this week it was sold out by Tuesday and we had to take seats in the East Stand. I think it's to do with Forest still being perceived as a big club. All the more reason why we mustn't be allowed to slip down into Div 2. I'm sure there would be better crowds if we were in the Championship playing the likes of Sunderland, Leeds, Southampton etc and of course they would bring down a good number of fans compared to Rotherham's coachload.

family stand sold out 2 weeks ago,i was told

Kids for a quid, and with the club actually contactings local schools/organisations i suppose it shouldn't be so suprising.

Hopefully we'll get an incredible win, and all the kids will come back for more. More likely though we'll take a pasting and they will never be seen again

Why shouldn't there be a good attendance from the STHs, this has to be the biggest draw by way of an away team in the whole league, it is the sort of game you just wouldn't want to miss.
