Does the Pyecombe service drop off and pick up here?

Yes, that's the only downside of using Pyecombe. The buses take ages to get up there and back past the coach park.
It’s annoying that it’s not guaranteed every league game as I like many others would commit to it. I have a Seagulls Travel coach season ticket which goes past the free Pyecombe site but would obviously need the assurance it would run every match.

Out of interest what time does the coach / bus get back to Pyecombe if you left at full time? For comparison ST leaves 30 mins after full time and get back to Burgess Hill around 17:50 for a 3pm KO

The uni was just as bad as The Bridge for the United game. Took us over an hour to get out. Think it's down to either not enough staff/staff not doing their jobs properly more than anything.

Had to stop using the Uni car park as the stewards are useless. With a proper system it could flow but they just stand around chatting and waving cars through randomly.

Is EDF in operation this Sunday?
I think it's either/or for each game. I'm not sure if there's any science behind it, but Pyecombe got the nod for Sunday.

I reckon Pyecombe is a no for normal Saturday KO's as the stud is in use for gymkhana stuff on Saturday mornings

I assume the SASTA west coast "service" will be the usual shitshow on Sunday. Weather is looking crap as well, so likely looking at a 700 into town and take my chances with whatever they lay on between Brighton station and Falmer.

I intend to be drinking heavily, so will get there plenty early.

Hmmm. The stretch from Pyecombe to the A27 is pretty torturous again. Not sure why the bus doesn’t stay in the middle lane, then go round the roundabout to gain right of way and save 20 minutes in single file traffic 🤷🏻‍♂️

Edit: Like the one that must have left 10-15 mins later has done. Now disappeared into the distance.

I feel your pain - similar experience 😀

Who wants a drink before the game anyway, save the waistline 😀
