Bristol Rovers striker Junior Agogo is set to sign for Nottingham Forest.
Bristol City's first team coach Paul Trollope confirmed Forest's move for the Ghana international, 26, after the Robins' 1-0 win over Grimsby.
"Forest are interested and next week we'll find out which way that will go," Trollope told BBC Radio Bristol.
"We will do the right thing for the club and if he does go we will try to replace him with quality, and we have already identified some players."
They already have a potent strike force. No stopping them
