The stadium will take all but a few hundred of the population of Nailsworth as it is planned at the moment!

Love looking at CGI images of new stadium designs. Guess it reminds me of the days of Falmer and all the excitement it brought at the time.

This is a lovely looking stadium for an ambitious smaller club. Very unique and 21st century. Love it.

If the perimeter of the pitch is approx 400m and the seat widths are about 0.5m, allowing for access, about six rows of seats, would give you a capacity of 5000 (I think)

Yes it has. A few hundred (probably a thousand or more now) more than 5000. Five thousand nine hundred and something was the 2011 census.

By my quick calculus the image of that stadium gives you an attendance of 21, 460 seats give or take a few.

That main stadium (third picture in the post showing the CGI) does rather look as if it could take five thousand on its own.

Anyone seen Rushden and Diamonds ground recently? They had a super stadium for a lower league team. Anyone else visit back in 2003? Mr Doc Martin pulled the funding a few years ago and now it’s all gone .....
