Got to the ground to be told it was off, second time it’s happened to me the last time was at Bristol Rovers…..must be something to do with Gloucestershire!
Likewise - today and Bristol Rovers and before then Halifax. And no loyalty points for today!

It's probably more to do with the rain! Where were Extiction Rebellion and the climate change protestors when we needed 'em then, eh?

Probably keeping warm and dry somewhere .......................

That would have been against Mansfield Town on December 15 2018 then (although it wasn't his debut, in fact quite the opposite, it was his final appearance for them - he wasn't involved in their next four league matches and was recalled on January 4 2019).

You really are a fountain of knowledge AZ :) I remember the cancelled game being Mansfield because it was the second time I’d gone to see FGR vs Mansfield and, for the second time, the game was called off (although now I’m beginning to doubt myself) but I’ve obviously got confused as that would’ve been far too late in the season for his debut. So it must’ve been the Oldham game (ticket still on the fridge). First home game of that season I think ???

At the end of my tether
Given their green credentials, I have a soft spot for Forest Green Rovers and look for their results.
Our club site says it was called off an hour before k.off. I was slightly amused that they referred to it as the Papa John’s Trophy , for sponsorship reasons .

Does this get replayed? I couldn't make it last night so could potentially be a result for me.

Yep, Oldham was their first home game - they had won 4-1 at Grimsby Town the week before.

Yes, we're just setting off shortly to hook up with my daughter and her FGR supporting husband so more than likely end up in the home end eating biodegradable crisp packets.

Will be a really tough game again tonight I suppose we need at least 2 points from the game to have a chance of qualifying through to the knockout stages,
How far did you get? The polite young lady running the car park at the primary school gave us the bad news.

:lolol:

All the way, was meeting family so couldn't really not go just because the footy was off, mind you I didn't find out it was off until I got there at 5ish

You'd fancy us to lose this one, given how many of our young players will be off representing their countries

Pretty much half of a possible team - this re-scheduling has definately favoured FGR.

Is it PoTG ? Can't see anything on club websites.
Almost certainly. I'm pretty sure the postponed match was (although my FGR STH mate bought our tickets so he could get his regular seat!)

And am I right in saying that some of the u18s that could have conceivably been promoted will be unavailable as well?

This was the team before the postponement occurred;

So Moran, Ferguson and Nilsson will be unavailable. I imagine two of Ella, Miller and Hinchy will come in to the team with Ifill promoted from the u18s for the bench. Perhaps, but unlikely will see Richards involved.
