Thanks for posting , How far to Bohns Burgers from the castle ?
Any Car Parking advice for a quick getaway , (southerly direction )?
Cheers
West Bridgford for me…….right side of the ground/river for a quick getaway. Usual tactic of a driveway via justpark.com 15 mins walk or so away which usually avoids the traffic snarl-ups post-match.

Mansfield Woodhouse, actually.
OP asked for 'places to visit in the area' as well as pubs!
There's a working windmill to the east of the city centre, about the same distance away from it as the City Ground, and it's free to visit. If you're still driving and close to Notts I would head straight for Sneinton as it closes at 4pm (has toilets) . When I went four or five years ago there was free parking too. If you want to make a donation just buy some of their expensive flour 😀
Sorry, don't know how to post videos...

Did you know there are hundreds of man-made sandstone caves under the city? You can visit those under the city centre (allow an hour). If you also want to visit the National Justice Centre then you can save with a combined ticket.
