Tesco are very often at/near the best rates. Avoid the airport at all costs…….usually better off using an ATM abroad than their rip-off rates

.. and pretty well any airport worldwide except Singapore for that matter. Last time in the UK, I had to change a little at Heathrow. Huge rip off and pushy staff, too.

Pre-booked rates are usually competitive with the High Street. Personally I wouldn't bother, just make sure you have a no fee fair exchange rate card.

I like Revolut - exchange rates are generally a lot better than high street exchanges and if I have any currency left at the end of the holiday you can quickly switch it back to sterling.
