Is it good or bad?

So, a mate is doing you a favour and you're thinking of telling them to shove it coz your not sure if the car is good enough for you?

Surely if anything does go wrong with it, you simply return to the kindly friend that lent it to you, wipe your fingerprints off and say thank you.

Fair point, not much use to you if you're the half way to an away game though! Something similar happen to a mate of mine a year or so back.

i had one of these as my first car

very reliable, never had a problem with it. and if you enjoy driving it is superb - a 'real' car that proves one hell of a challenge to drive, especially as it has no power steering and comes equipped with a choke

i would go for it - it will be a totally different world to what you learnt to drive in, but it is a good experience and makes driving all the more fun as you reach 80 and it feels like it is going to explode. good "character building" driving it is
