We have just come back from a brilliant few days in Cornwall, trying to avoid catching the virus. We were told about a Church on Dartmoor at a place called Bren Tor which is a 13C church on top of a steep climb.

Apart from it being built by one of the direct ancestors of Prince William’s godfather, there was this on the wall.



If you look at the dates, this brave sailor was married for 3 months before he perished

This was an extremely moving moment reading the transcript!

It's not. It's on the way though, or on the way back. My sister used to pass through it on her way there (and back) to pet the ponies (I expect that's some kind of euphemism there, or NSC will invent one).
