Thanks all, to say its f***ing painful is a massive understatement. The worst pain in my life by far, which after what ive been though before is surprising!!!!

Sorry to hear that Dave and Laura.
Get well soon BAG. I suppose you can nurse yourself better in some ways, which must be convenient. Also, when you start such a high-level sport, begin with the lower rungs, climb onto the back of a badger or an opiated unaroused bulldog and off you trot, your prodding spurs made of perhaps a waxy solid rather than those sharpened wheels of steely dread pushers and torturers used in days of yore.

Anyway, what i mean to say is that i hope you're not immobilised and the recovery is quick and relatively painless.
