Get there early. Went to the V and A two weeks ago and had to fight through the queue for the NH museum. The v&a was packed so I hate to think what the NH museum was like!

On way now, went about a month ago, queues too long for natural history, but science museum we just walked straight in

Listening to the radio and watching Sky Sports whilst muted. Couldnt afford to go to this as well as Derby, Reading and Birmingham - as well as the trip to Barnsley.

One of the finest posts in the history of NSC. Gagmongous perseus! Gagmongous indeed.

Gagmongous? Doesn't sound like a compliment. I always thought Perseus went to games.

I'll be looking after my disabled wife whilst simultaneously repairing the back garden fence and listening Jeff Stelling tell the nation how Brighton have scored a third goal. And my wife says I can't multitask :D

I think the proof of that will come only if she finds she's been nailed and creosoted by the end of the day, and the fence has got a nice cup of tea with biscuits

One of the party-people (whose birthday is being celebrated) was a Brighton girl, but I doubt she cares about our scores. I'll be sure to keep her up-dated though

I am curious why you don't listen to the radio commentary?
I don't really know. I think it's partly because I find the radio hard to keep up with . At least on Sky Sports, if I miss-hear something, I can actually look at the screen to see what I''ve missed ( if that makes sense ). Obviously, I'd rather be at the game, but sadly opportunities are very rare :(

I am on a stag do so I won't be there and my nephew is going instead. Therefore I have had my "real fan" status rescinded for the day. :)

Sounds reasonable. My mate who sit next to me can't make this game, so his real fan status is revoked too.

My Dad is coming instead (life long Bournemouth supporter) but he is now promoted to Brighton "real fan" status.

Sure he will be delighted.

I know what you mean. You do have to concentrate on the radio. I know when I am doing stuff and have the commentary on i find myself frequently stopping to keep up with what's going on. Good luck with the fencing. i replaced a couple of panels this week (for a friend) and had to work around and avoid destroying a huge jasmine climbing plant and a climbing rose. I hope your repairs are easier.

If you're not going to the game you need to have multiple browsers open - NSC, either Sportinglife.com/football and bbc.co.uk/football for live table updates and live scores, the radio commentary on in the background and your TV on Final Score as well if that's not overkill.
