Drive by abusing
Terry MUST go!

First tried to sow revolution in the ranks

Then went totally AWOL yesterday... Upson made mistakes trying to cover for Terry. How an earth he misjudged the flight of the kick for the first goal is beyond me. Has been the same since the scandal broke. Needs to sort his head out so time in the wilderness methinks.

Couldn't agree more. He's a troublemaker with a capital T.
We have a nice crop of young centre backs so he wouldn't be a massive loss.

FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
I assume this is a wind-up. He is probably the worst defender we have and was easily the worst player on the pitch yesterday. His defending is bad (he was out of position for at least 3 of the goals), he is very slow. He may have some qualities, but I sincerely hope he never gets in the team again.

Terry is our best centre back i would agree. Played out of position like a few others.

And for me was looking to sort a situation in the camp that wasnt right. Nothing wrong with that.

Brighton
I tend to disagree about Barry, who I don't think was fully fit, and Lampard, who scorced a stunning goal yesterday :dunce:

I worry about our aparent lack of centrebacks beyond Terry and Ferdinand.

Really?

Ryan Shawcross is a brilliant central defender and is only 22.

Gary Cahill is turning into a great defender and is only 24.

One of those will captain the side in 2014 I reckon:thumbsup:

love it how people are going to dump Barry after one bad performance and an indifferent one, following injury. At 29 and given his position, he should be around for the next World Cup - especially if people think Hargreaves (same age) should be a focus.

Terry should go for no other reason than I think he is the most unpleasant and big headed individual I can think of who's ever played for England. Oh wait, I forgot about Ashley Cole....

I wonder if things went wrong because Terry lost the armband but stayed in the squad? Maybe he should either of kept the armband or been removed from the squad.
