The first match I went to (with my dad) was Man Utd v Spurs at White Hart Lane in the early 70's. Before and after the KO they were kicking all sorts of shit out of each other, and the Police - big time.

The song I remember was "Walk on with Hope up Your arse, cos you'll never walk again......." (to the tune of the hit from the beat combo, Gerry and the Pacemakers)
